Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy optimally diagnose and treat injury and disease by correcting and improving the body’s own natural healing mechanisms. A physiotherapist uses physical approaches to promote, maintain and restore physical, physiological and social well-being.

Physiotherapy treatment includes a hands-on approach in combination with various techniques aimed at rapid rehabilitation. Different modalities including soft tissue and manual therapy, electrotherapy, exercise therapy and many more may be utilised in the management of various ailments.

The service includes a practical rehabilitation programme and preventative advice.

The duration of each session is approximately 45 minutes that also include information about your condition. This will usually be followed up with an email.

We provide good communication with  other members of the multi-disciplinary team and promote a 360-degree patient centred feedback process.

To optimise the diagnostic procedures, we do referrals for radiological assessments for example X-rays, MRI , CT, Diagnostic Ultrasound and  Ultrasound guided infiltrations.

We are able to provide onwards referrals to consultants, if required.

Our clinic takes part in the Physiofirst Data for Impact and Quality Assured project. We will request written consent from a selection of patients, prior to submitting any confidential information for this study.

We regularly receive an external clinical audit according to Bupa guidelines.
