Physiotherapy, Diagnostic Scan and Injection Prices
Every appointment is a full hour
That is deliberate. Insurer-funded physiotherapy is generally priced around thirty-minute appointments, and Meyer Physio does not believe thirty minutes is enough to assess a problem properly, explain what is causing it, and treat it in the same visit.
It also means that where a diagnostic ultrasound scan would change the diagnosis, it can often be done during the same appointment rather than sending you elsewhere to wait. The scan is charged separately – see the table below, but you are not paying for a second visit to have it.
Prices are per treatment. Where a scan is done, the written report is included in its price. Onward referrals to specialists, or for MRI and CT, are included with your consultation, and there is no charge for email or telephone advice between appointments.

Most injections require an assessment or diagnostic scan beforehand, unless you’ve been referred with a diagnosis. Call us and we’ll confirm what you need.
Physiotherapy Initial Assessment — £105
What happens in the appointment. A full hour with an advanced practice musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist – history, examination, and a diagnosis explained in plain terms. Treatment usually starts the same day, and you leave with a plan.
Do I need a GP referral? No. You can book directly.
Will I need a scan on top? Only if it would change the diagnosis. Where it would, the appointment is booked as a scan at £225 instead of £105. The two fees are not added together.
Physiotherapy Follow-Up — £105
What happens. A full hour, the same as your initial assessment. Sessions review what’s changed, progress the plan, and update your exercises.
Is anything charged on top? No. Referrals to specialists or for MRI and CT are included where clinically needed, and there’s no charge for email or telephone advice between appointments.
